I referred to you as grandpa Greffen and even though we did not have the good fortune to spend much time together, I know exactly what a gem you were.
You see, you don’t get that much of a firecracker of a woman with that big a gleam in her eye to build a life with you without having that something special.
It’s impossible to have such caring children with such wicked senses of humor unless you show them first hand how to navigate this world.
And it’s impossible to have such sweet grandchildren without letting them know how much they are loved.
So you see, I did know you.
I would have loved hanging in your shop and shooting the breeze. If I had, I know I would have heard a lot of funny stories and learned a lot of great life lessons.
You were such a fantastic blessing to so many. We will be sure to celebrate you until we meet again. Save some shenanigans for us. 🍀
Love,
Boots Kountanis
