Erma Jean Lawrence's Obituary
Erma Jean Lawrence, 80, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023. She was born on December 5, 1942, in Quincy, FL, to her mother: Lessie Rebecca Poston. She was the owner of a daycare she ran from her own home and a member of Lake Saunders Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Tommy Lawrence and Carol (Scott) Wojciechowski; grandchildren: Heather Lawrence and T.J. (Kassie) Lawrence; sister: Shirley Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband: Burl Lawrence; parents: Lessie and Orval Thomas; sister: Sue Wilson and brother: Elsie B. Thomas.
She devoted her life to the care and growth of children, and she loved them all as her own. She was loved by so many, and a blessing to all who knew her.
The family will have a Funeral service on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 11:00AM, with a gathering of friends and family one hour prior to the service from 10:00AM – 11:00AM at Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home in Tavares, FL.
