Eria N. Strawder's Obituary
Eria N. Strawder, age 98, of Leesburg, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018. She was born February 28, 1920 in Wicksburg, Alabama, the daughter of John and Sabie (Miller) Gilley. She married her husband Henry in 1936 and enjoyed 53 years of marriage before his passing in 1989. She loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. Eria worked as a flower arranger at a local nursery. She will be greatly missed by her daughters; Bobbie (Richard) Cochran-Stout of Umatila, Shirley (Billy) Lawrence of Leesburg and Willa Leonard of Leesburg; Granddaughter; Sharon Wininger and Grandsons; Michael (Cheryl) Cochran, Steven Jenkins, Wayne Jenkins, Randall Lawrence, Ricky Miller and David White. She is also survived by 17 Great Grandchildren and 20 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandsons; John Cochran and Jeffery Jenkins and sisters; Ola and Thelma. Friends and family will be received on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M. funeral service, officiated by Reverend Bill Boyer, at Steverson, Hamlin and Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E.
