Emery Warner Dillard Jr.'s Obituary
Dillard, Emery Warner Jr. of age 82, passed away Thursday March 30, 2023 in Summerfield, FL. Emery was born on December 15, 1940 in Eustis, FL to Emery W. Dillard Sr and Ollie Mae Patterson Dillard. Growing up in Eustis, he attended and played football at Eustis High School. He was a United States Marine and went on to graduate from the University of Georgia. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was Exhaulted Ruler of the Eustis Elks Club and a member of the Bahia Shriners club. He is survived by his brother Murrell L. Dillard, son Christopher Dillard, daughter Karyl Lynn Dillard Timmons, and his beloved partner Cheryl Vikeras. Also his four grand children and many nieces and nephews. Preceded him in death was his sister Paddy Marie Dillard Dale and his wife of 27 years, Margaret Ann Dillard of Tavares, FL. Graveside service for family will be held April 22, 2023 at 9:30 am at Tavares Cemetery, 2055 Dead River Rd Tavares, FL 32778. Following the graveside service, there will be a celebration of life from 11 am-12 noon, at the First Baptist Church of Umatilla, FL. 550 Hatfield Dr., for all that would like to attend.
