Eleanor L. King's Obituary
Eleanor L. King of Tavares, Florida passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the age of 80 years. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL from Valley Stream, Long Island, NY in 1976 and finally settling in Tavares in 2003. She was a homemaker and retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, where she did clerical work. Eleanor was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Eustis. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Tammy King of Sorrento, FL; brother, Fred Kaplon and his wife, Mary Ann of Margate, FL; grandchildren, Adam T. King of Eustis, FL and Daniel K. King of Leesburg, FL and great grandchild, Olivia M. King. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. King in 2005 and her son, Joseph A. King in 2010. Friends are invited to gather on Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Mass will be held on Friday at 10:30 am at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
