Eleanor Marie Iwuc's Obituary
Eleanor Marie Iwuc age 92 passed away Monday evening in Tavares, Florida. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to the Tavares area in 2011 from Merritt Island, Florida. Eleanor was pre-deceased by her devoted husbands - Louis Kresney, and Frank Iwuc; sister- Margaret Dixon; and brother Thomas Fahey. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Mt. Dora. Before she retired to Florida Eleanor worked as a Telephone Operator for over 40 years. She was a vibrant, considerate loving woman who never complained about hardships and always took the high road even during tough hospital stays and times of poor health. She will be remembered by those closest to her for her deep adoration of children, and the way she lit up anytime she got to talk to young children. She was a great cook and loved to cook large meals and entertain her family during the holidays. Eleanor was also an animal lover and loved her dogs like they were part of the family. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters – Patricia (Wil) Warner of Zellwood, FL; and Carol (Joseph) Tosto of Carlsbad, CA; Step-sons – Mike (Susan) Iwuc of Orlando, FL; and Frank Iwuc of Augusta, GA; Sisters – Mary Lou Schutz of Mayfield Heights, OH; and Imelda Alexander of Melbourne, FL; Grandchildren – Stastia, Stephanie, and Susan; and one Great-Grandchild – Nouriya.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P. M. – Thursday at Steverson, Hamlin and Hilbish Funerals and Cremations in Tavares, Florida. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 A. M. – Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mt. Dora, Florida with Father Nelson Javier serving as Officiant.
