I met Dr Ed for 1 week in Georgetown , back in 1988. He was my teacher in poultry disease diagnosis that week. A brilliant mentor , full of kindness,calm and gentle to all my inquisitive moments. He was smiling a lot when he took me for drive in his beautiful Oldsmobile car. He couldn't understand my affection for that fabulous car. Thank You dear Dr Ed. After all these years I still think about your kindness , which led me here to this page today. Your memory is still alive.
So very sorry to hear of this loss of such a great man! I couldn't find him for a few years and this is how my search ended sadly. Worked with him at the track for many years. Such a genuine caring intelligent and wonderful man. Sorry for the loss for his family. Prayers! Aimee L Bossi

We are sorry to have lost our friend Ed Odor to the ravages of cancer. It was our good fortune to have met Ed and his bride Dora about four years ago when they were living in our neighborhood while caring for Ed's mother, Ruth Saxon. Ed and Dora became our good friends and were welcomed into our home on many occasions.
We will miss you, Ed, and are sorry that you suffered while fighting your battle with cancer. Our hearts go out to Dora, who so diligently nursed Ruth for several years, and then immediately did the same for Ed over these past 20 months. Our sympathy goes out to Ed's family in the loss of their brother, father, and grandfather.
