Edward L Parker's Obituary
Edward L. Parker, of Paisley, passed away on Tuesday, September 8th, 2009 at the age of 71 years. He was born in Umatilla and has been a lifelong resident of this area. Growing up as a farmer, Edward worked with Citrus and other agricultural product. After the freeze in the early 1980's, he briefly went to work in the Post Office in Paisley and realized he would prefer to work for himself. He worked hard as an owner/operator of a clay pit, hauling dirt throughout the area. He served in the US Army Reserves in Eustis. He enjoyed camping. Edward is remembered by his companion, Juanita Thompson of Paisley; daughter, Elizabeth Keith of Ocala; son, Edward Lee Parker III of Paisley; brothers, Jack and Charlie Parker; sister, Margaret Smith and grandchildren, Kyle and Clayton Keith and Charles and Deseree Parker. Arrangements are entrusted to Steverson-Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares, FL 352-343-4444.A Graveside service will be on Friday, September 18th at 1 p.m. at Ponceannah Cemetery in Paisely.
