Edward D. Keisling's Obituary
Edward D. Keisling of Tavares, Florida passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at the age of 83 years. He was born in Greeneville, Tennessee. Edward proudly served his country in the US Army as a tank driver. After his service to our country, Ed moved to Ohio. He met and married his first wife, Johanna. He worked for Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority and retired as a Supervisor after 26 years of service. He and Johanna moved to Florida in 2003 from Ohio. Johanna passed away on December 18, 2004 after 38 years of marriage.
Ed met and married his second wife, Sylvia Jean. Together, they enjoyed going to flea markets and swap meets, collecting and selling fishing lures and other collectibles. Ed was a member of AmVets Post #1997 and the Eagles. Sylvia passed away on August 18, 2020. They enjoyed 13 years of marriage.
Ed is remembered and will be dearly missed by his sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Terry McClure of Cottontown, Tennessee; sister, Cindy Shipley of Kingsport, Tennessee; and dear friends, Calvin and Viola Cross of Tavares; Sonny, Kathleen and Caleb Parker of Tavares and many other special friends from Tavares.
A memorial ceremony will be held on Tuesday, November 17 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
