Edith Louise Welder's Obituary
Mrs. Edith Louise Welder, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the age of 81 years. She was born in Paw Paw, Michigan to Ray and Ada Wright. Edith met and married Milton Welder and in 1952 they left Bangor, Michigan and moved to Leesburg. She assisted Milton in operating his excavating business but she was mainly a homemaker, raising three children. Edith was a member of the Mid-Lakes Christian Church until they moved their location and then started attending church at First Baptist of Leesburg with her son. She was preceded in death in 1988 by her husband, Milton. Edith is remembered by her son, Albert Welder of Leesburg; son and daughter-in-law, Herbert and Diane Welder of Tavares; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Duane Reichert of Sorrento, FL; brothers Leo Wright of Bellevue, FL and Willis Wright of Gobles, Michigan, four grandchildren, Herbert Welder, Jr. of Tavares, Stephen Wilburth of Apopka, FL, Jessica Reichert of Jacksonville, FL and Angela Reichert of Sorrento; as well as three great grandchildren, Christopher, Kendra, and Sean. Friends were invited to gather for viewing on Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. A funeral ceremony started at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 18, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with burial following at Tavares Cemetery.
