Sorry for your loss,my memory of Doug was will presented as I grew up in Ottawa ,my dad Ralph Sweet was his Lawyer and long time friend .
I had the pleasure to meet him several times and my dad spoke very highly of him and Hene .
He certainly was a huge force in the development of building and homes in Ottawa.

Dear Hene, Doug, Tom, Jennifer and David. I am so sorry to learn of Doug's passing. Doug and I met in Grade ten at Ottawa Tech in 1948 when we lived in Sandy Hill. I will miss our frequent telephone conversations where we often reminisced about the good old days in Ottawa, our visits in Mount Dora and fishing in Mexico NY. Doug was a wonderful good friend, I will miss him greatly. God Bless
