Dorothy Jane Wright's Obituary
Dorothy Jane Wright, known by her family and friends as ‘Janie’, passed away on September 16, 2024, in Mount Dora, Florida at the age of 86. Janie was a faithful daughter, beloved sister, cherished aunt, and devoted friend. Janie was born on August 28, 1938 in Ohsweken, Ontario Canada to the parents of Henry Edgar Lickers and Myrtle Violet General. She was the second youngest child and is survived by her sister Ruth A. Beisheim, brother-in-law Rexford Overhiser, and her many nieces and nephews.
Janie loved spending time with her family and was their angel here on earth. She nurtured them with her warm, caring and generous spirit. Her home was a haven of laughter and comfort. Janie spent her career working for the Eastman Kodak company. She loved the Lord and was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed cooking, eating out, and traveling. Janie’s love left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends here on earth but is joyfully reunited with loved ones who predeceased her in heaven.
