M.F. Kershner
As Fran and I prepare to leave for Florida to celebrate Aunt Dot's life I am saddened by our loss, but feel so blessed with the joy of having such a sweet Aunt.
Being the oldest nephew or niece, I had the pleasure of her love for nearly 80 years. When I was very young, she & Uncle Bruce would take me home to Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and my mother had to call to get me back to Hagerstown. Boy did she spoil me. I was always ready to go with her.
As all of the family and her friends know, Aunt Dot wanted to feed you if you visited...she wouldn't take no for and answer. And I can say without question, that I never heard her say anything negative about anyone. She was forever a lady and was devoted to her husband for life.
She was the last of my father's siblings and I will forever miss her as I have my Dad and Mom, Millard and Louise, Aunt Jean and Uncle Bob and Aunt Fern. But I'll cherish as long as I live, the wonderful pictures in my mind of the happy life I enjoyed with them.
Thank you God for blessing me.
Millard F. Kershner III (Little M.F, as Dot & Bruce would call me.)
