Dorothy R. Turay-Sheedy, age 89, of Tavares passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014. She was born April 27, 1924 in West Bend, Wisconsin. She was a retired bookkeeper and was a member St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mt. Dora. She is survived by her sons, Stephen (Carol) Turay of CA, Daniel (Carla) Turay of Tavares, FL, Thomas (Lisa) Sheedy of Waukesha, WI; daughters, Carol (Larry) Norton of Racine, WI, Sally (Jim) Hanson of Anaheim Hills, CA; sister, Lorraine Wenger of Waukesha, WI; son-in-law, Tom Casey of Mukwonago, WI; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will have a Memorial Gathering on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 3:00PM at the Fox Run Clubhouse, Fox Run Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 9:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mt. Dora. Inurnment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mt. Dora. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E.
