Dorothy Gogarty Othus' Obituary
Dorothy Gogarty Othus, age 93, of Tavares passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017. She was born December 5, 1923 in Peekskill, NY to George and Gertrude Gogarty and moved to Lake County in 1980 from NY. She was a homemaker and a veteran of the U.S. Army. When she was able, she loved to play tennis. She is survived by her son, David Othus of Casa Grande, AZ; daughter, Dona Denoyelles of Tavares, FL; sister, Elizabeth Tarkington of NY; grandchildren, Aimee Denoyelles and Adrienne Denoyelles; and great-grandchildren, Maggie Klein and Lane Seilhamer. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 2:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares.
