Dorothy Germaine DePape's Obituary
Dorothy “Dottie” DePape (née DeVrieze), 94, of Tavares, FL, passed away on November 20, 2025, surrounded by her son Jerome. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, wife, and friend.
Dottie was born in Rochester, NY, on June 12, 1931, to the late Jerome DeVrieze and Doris DeVrieze (Williams). She moved to Tavares, FL, in 1979, where she raised her son, Jerome DePape, and daughter, Donna DePape.
She is predeceased by her husband, George DePape; her daughter, Barbara Huffer (Koza); and her brother, Donald DeVrieze. She is survived by her son, Jerome; her daughter, Donna; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and friends.
Dottie was a truly beautiful woman, inside and out. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
