Dora Potter Muscatello's Obituary
Dora Potter Muscatello of Tavares, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the age of 89 years. She was born in Silver City, New Mexico. She moved to Lake County Florida in 2001 from Orlando. Dora was a homemaker. She stayed at home raising her family and taking good care of her husband, Bill. She was a talented cook and specialized in Italian and Mexican dishes. She also loved to bake and made delicious desserts. She and Bill traveled all over the world. First while Bill was in the military and later, they traveled together. She traveled to South America, Europe, Africa and Alaska and many other places. Dora also enjoyed crocheting. She volunteered at Good Shepherd Catholic Church while living in Orlando.
Dora is remembered and will be dearly missed by her husband of 66 years, William R. ‘Bill’ Muscatello; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Marlene Muscatello of Altamonte Springs, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Jon Rennie of Wake Forest, North Carolina and 2 grandchildren, Jacob Rennie and Zachary Rennie. Dora was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Jean Muscatello in 1986.
Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 9:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Mount Dora. The casket will be open for 30 minutes prior to Mass at the church. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
