Hi Aunt Sue... You’ve been on my mind a lot these past few days. 38 years together? I don’t have any memories of before you and Uncle Don were not married. It’s hard to share a favorite memory with Uncle Don because there are so many good ones. I remember when I was in 5th grade and our whole family drove to Florida for a long vacation. That was probably my favorite vacation because all of the family was there, and Grandma Ruth was still with us. Everyone was so light hearted and joyful to be together and having fun (and I’m sure the booze helped! lol) Even through my child eyes it was evident how happy it made everyone to be together and that they all REALLY enjoyed each other. Uncle Don, Dad and Grandpa Roy were the life of the party. I remember Uncle Don grilling Alligator meat and it was the first time I tried it. I also remember Christmas’s at Aunt Elaine’s with all of us, and You and Uncle Don always showed how much you cared by traveling for our graduation parties and my wedding. Adam loved to talk politics with Unk bc of his work with Clerk’s office. He gave Adam some good advice.... he told him he has what it takes but to wait 10 years until the kids are grown. I’m going to miss him very much! I know we all are. But I’m very happy that he’s with his Best Friend and Bringing again. ❤️
Love you, sending Love to everyone else down there too—- Kara
