Mr. B was one of my all time favorite teachers! I had him as a 6th grader at Thomas Jefferson in Milan. I don’t ever remember him being in a bad mood. He cracked jokes, let us pick our own seats, and worked very hard on helping us to raise funds to go to Chicago at the end of the year for our 6th grade field trip. He treated everyone with respect and kindness, and although I have not seen him since I was 12, he will live in my heart forever. Julie Pauwels VanDerGinst

Dear Judy,
Truly sorry to hear of Don’s passing. Oddly I thought of you both just a few evenings ago, the thought was fleeting, perhaps in a dream. I am not sure. Do believe we cross paths with one another for a reason. Feel blessed to have had you and Don in my life all those years ago.

Where do I start? Husband, Father, Grandpa, Uncle ...My Uncle Don was the most caring person I know. Even at the worst times he would put a positive spin on the situation. Great communicator! Unbeleivably Passionate! Just an Amazing Man!
The most important was his UNCONDITIONAL LOVE he showed everyone! What a great asset.
He Loved God and served him with no questions. His FAITH was an insperation to me, my family and everyone he touched.

What an Amazing man. I will never forget everything you have done for us Uncle Don.
I love you!
