When Greg, John, Cornelio, and I first came to the US, Uncle Danny was very supportive of us in many ways. He was a bachelor for a long time so he had the time to take Angel and us around to ball games and visiting places and people. Uncle Danny was ageless. He related to people of all ages which is why everyone enjoyed his company. The entire Vigilia Clan loved him and will miss him greatly. Condolences to the the family.

Uncle was a caring, kind, wonderful soul. Growing up in Niland at the farm with him and my parents bring back many, many cherished memories that I and my sister Annette hold dear. He and my Dad decided to make that leap of opportunity to the States in the late 30's where eventually they ended up in Niland, CA to become farmers. He loved to fish and tend his garden in Niland and Garland. His favorite teams were the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. He was loved by soooo many people and that's a true testament to his character.
I'll miss you and our conversations Uncle. I'm sure you're having great conversations now with my parents and our relatives up above. I love you very much. RIP.

Uncle Danny was a caring, kind, wonderful person. Growing up in Niland he was always around, you can always count on him. Immigrated to the States and eventually settling in Niland,CA to farm tomatoes with my dad Vicente. The filipino farmers in Niland were a strong community.

There are soooo many cherished memories that I and Annette have of you from being at the farm, at your house in town, going fishing, all those Legionario Del Trabajo events, your garden, visiting you in Garland, talking on the phone, getting letters from you with seeds in it. I can go on and on.
We'll miss your smile, our conversations and you just being you, just being our Uncle.

Grandpa Danny,
I will always remember you and Dad being with me at my first Chargers game, you helping me drive the tractors at Grandpa Vincent's farm, going fishing at the Salton Sea, visiting you during Christmas in Niland, visiting you in Garland, and enjoying the bitter melon and egg plant every time you cooked it for me. You had such a golden heart. I can still see your sincere, caring, and loving smile in my mind. Although it was sad to hear about your passing away, I am happy knowing that you are with God, and catching up with Dad, Uncle Greg, and Uncle John. Love you and miss you.

My Condolences to The Entire Vigilia Family, I remember Him for His Spunk and His Help for All in Niland Back in My Youth Days Where he helped Me Get My First Pair of Glasses. I Loved Both The Vigilia Brothers They were Awesome in The 60's. Thank You For Being so Attentive to the Needs of Our Small Town Called Niland,Ca. Till we Meet Again!!!
