Dennis W. Rickard, age 71, of Tavares passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016. He was born April 15, 1945 in Rimersburg, PA and moved to Lake County 10 years ago from IL. He was a retired pilot and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tavares. He is survived by his mother, Helen Rickard of Tavares, FL; son, William Rickard of IL; daughter, Katherine Rickard of IL; brother, Gary Rickard of Eustis, FL; and sister, Kim Smith of Tavares, FL. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 11:00AM at the First Baptist Church of Tavares.
