Dennis L. Goodman's Obituary
Dennis L. Goodman of Tavares passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the age of 90 years. He was born in Sullivan, Indiana. Dennis served his country in the US Army in World War II. In 1956, he relocated from Sullivan to Orlando and then to Tavares in 1973. Dennis worked in mobile home sales until his retirement. He was a member of the Elk’s Lodge # 911 in Sullivan, as well as the Masonic Lodge in Indiana. Dennis is survived by his wife, Margaret; son, Dennis R. Goodman and his wife, Janice E. of Leesburg; daughters, Judith Hargrove of Oviedo and Cheryl Olivenbaum of Groveland; sister, Rosalie Presnoples of Indianapolis; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A graveside ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 3 at 12:30 pm at Tavares Cemetery in Tavares, Florida. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
