Dennis C. Bankowitz, age 79, of Astatula passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020. He was born April 16, 1940 in Yonkers, NY and moved to Lake County in 1975 from NY. He was a parts saleman with Ford. He was a member of the Crossfire Automobile Club and VTCOA. He is survived by his son, Dennis Bankowitz, Jr., and his wife, Joanne of Astatula, FL; daughter, Amy Rogers of Eustis, FL; 3 grandchildren, Wesley Rogers, Devin Bankowitz, and Alyssa Bankowitz.
