Aunt Dee was there to listen and help when you needed it. I used to walk a mile or 2 down James road with my babies to visit with her. She was always there caring for Uncle Bob, her children and any else who needed her. She was so lucky to have been a part of so many peoples lives. I am sending love to all of her family.
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember spending so much time at the Runge home as a child. She will be missed.

Aunt Dee joined the Runge clan when she was just in her late teens. I was just 6 years younger than she. Both Uncle Bob and she were closer to my age than my brother and youngest sister. They were at our farm many times, both helping out and visiting both in good times and hard times. It was not unlike any of the Runges to just drop in for a visit. She must have felt too old to ride her bike after she married, because it became our first real grownup bike. I'm sure each of you have many good memories of her. May they be used to help you through your grief. And in God's loving Care may you find peace. Marsha Runge Fairbanks
