Debora Fay Dawkins' Obituary
Debora Fay Dawkins passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at home with her family at her side after a long fight to lung cancer. She was the wife of Robert Townsend Dawkins. The two shared 36 years of marriage together.
Born in Hart, Michigan she was the daughter of Janie Clester and belated father Oliver Clifford Schofield. She graduated from Leesburg High School and worked many of her years as a house maid.
She was a member of the Leesburg Church of God of Prophecy and The Eagles Club. She enjoyed her family and friends, her granddaughter Audrey, crocheting with friends and spending much of her time outdoors and in the sun.
She is survived by her husband Robert Dawkins, son Wayne Robert Dawkins, Daughter Roxanne Marie O’Keefe, Son-in-law James Blaise O’Keefe, and granddaughter Audrey Marie O’Keefe and her mother Janie Clester, her sister Tammy Mason, brother Scott Schofield and sister-in-law Karen Schofield.
The memorial service will be held on January 4, 2020 at 3pm at Leesburg Church of God of Prophecy at 28020 County Road 33, Leesburg FL 34748.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Florida Cancer Specialist Foundation.
