David Willet Decker's Obituary
David Willet Decker, age 80, of Leesburg, FL passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2011. David was born and raised in Janesville, WI. He married his high school sweetheart, Nellie, and they had two beautiful daughters, Linda and Shannon. Through hard work, he moved his way up into executive management with Spiegel, Inc, and he retired years later. David always had a great sense of humor with a zest for life, and he followed his lifelong passion for golf into his 80th year. He is survived by his two daughters, Linda and Shannon, along with his three grandchildren, Kirk, Ryan, and Tattianna. David is dearly loved and missed, and he will always be remembered as a wonderful father and grandfather. The family received friends at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 3:00PM until 8:00PM. A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 10:00AM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of David Decker to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778.
