David Kinchens' Obituary
David Kinchens of Tavares passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the age of 63 years. He was born in Thomasville, Georgia and has lived in central Florida most of his life. David loved fishing and earned his living as a commercial fisherman until 2005 when he retired. A family man, David was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Myrtle Kinchens; and siblings, Frances Wright, Jessie “Buddy” Kinchens, Jonita Kinchens, John Kinchens and Anne Aguiler. David is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife, Susan Kinchens of Leesburg; sons, David Kinchens (Teana) of Lisbon and Jeremy Kinchens (Kat) of Tavares; daughter, Susan Woolever (Wesley) of Leesburg; brothers, Robert Kinchens of Tavares and Eddie Kinchens (Theresa) of Apopka; sisters, Diane Altman of Lake Park, Georgia, Carolyn Romo of Apopka, and Melinda Maldonado of Apopka; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather for viewing on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 PM with a funeral ceremony starting at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
