David Eugene Grantham's Obituary
David Eugene Grantham, beloved son, brother, husband and friend, left this world unexpectedly, at 40, on Friday, February 12, 2021. David was a Florida boy, born in Inverness, Florida on November 1, 1980. The son of Gene and Charlotte Grantham. David grew up in Mount Dora, Florida. David always liked the simple things in life and what the Florida outdoors had to offer. If you didn't find him out fishing somewhere, he would be bar-be-cuing out back, using the Grantham family recipe "special sauce" that has been guarded for years. David's other passions were watching wrestling watching superhero movies and singing Karaoke. His constant companions were his dear friend Deb Frazier and his two fur babies: Goku and Misty. Through highs and lows David could find great comfort in his loyal and devoted friends. David is predeceased by his beloved wife, Heather Grantham, who passed August 1, 2020 and his sister Lisa who passed on April 15, 2018. David is survived by his parents; Father, Gene Grantham (Gloria) of Tavares, Florida and mother, Charlotte Grantham of Tavares, Florida, sister, Shannon Martin (Paul) of Leesburg, Florida and dear friend Deb Frazier of Tavares, Florida.
A gathering of family and friends for David is scheduled for Monday, February 22nd from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, Florida 32778. A celebration of life memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Brooks Braswell officiating. David's place of rest will be at a later date at Tavares, Cemetery
