David Malcolm Brown's Obituary
David Malcolm Brown, age 83, of Tavares, FL passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015. He was born March 9, 1932 in North Attleboro, MA and moved to Tavares in 2001. He was a graduate from Bryant University, Smithfield, RI. He was a retired engineering tech with Texas Instruments and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Korean Conflict. He served as chairman and was a member of the North Attleboro Planning Board. He was also a Mason, a member of the V.F.W., and loved hunting and the great outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anna L. Brown of Tavares, FL; son, Robert Quimby of Dunedin, FL; daughters, Diane Guckin (Jim) of Largo, FL, Doreen Brown-Wade (Dan Regan) of Trumbull, CT, Carolyn Plante (Jim Belanger) of Vero Beach, FL, Denise Daily (John) of Northfield, NJ; sister, Ruth E. Hicks of Fort Gratiot, MI; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Nelson F. Brown, II. A Private Memorial Service will be held at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, www.lung.org.
