Cynthia Elizabeth McCollum, 61 of Grand Island, FL went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Cynthia was born on November 23, 1956 in Orlando, FL to the late Walter and Florence Irvine. She married the love of her life, Kenneth R. McCollum, on May 20, 1978 at College Park Methodist Church, Orlando, FL. She and her husband later moved to Grand Island, FL from Orlando, FL in 1992. Cynthia was a member of College Park Methodist Church. She enjoyed feeding the birds at the park, taking care of her dogs and most of all being a mother to her three children. She is predeceased by her Daughter: Suzanne Shier. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years: Kenneth McCollum of Grand Island, FL; Sons: Bradley (Keri) McCollum of Umatilla, FL and Bret McCollum of Grand Island, FL. Brothers: Walter D. Irvine Jr. of Zellwood, FL, Allan Irvine of Titusville, FL, Charles T. Irvine of Orlando, FL, Robert F. (Annette) Irvine of Orlando, FL, and John A. (Marsha) Irvine of Kansas. Sisters: Patricia (Larry) Wilkerson of Georgia, Katherine (Steve) Stallard of Orlando, FL, and Pamela (Andy) Amrhein of Kissimmee, FL; And Grandson: Reid Nanno of Umatilla, FL. Cynthia was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by many.
