Corrine R. Lang's Obituary
Corrine R Lang, age 82, passed away peacefully November 14, 2020 with her family by her side in Apopka Florida. She was born August 8 1938 in Courtland Al.
She is the beloved mother of John Christopher Lang(Chris) and the proud grandmother of Taylor Corrine Martins and Jordan Skye Lang. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. All of these she loved and touched deeply. In addition she had a group of close, loving friends who will feel her loss terribly.
For 30 years Corrine worked for the Lake County School Board as an elementary school teacher, and for her last 5 years as a media specialist. It was truly her life’s work, where she touched the life of thousands of Lake County’s children. Many times her grandchildren would complain because Grams could not go anywhere without being stopped by someone wanting to thank Ms. Lang and share a story. The grandkids hated it, but Grams loved it. These were HER students and she still wanted to share in their lives.
Corrine was an avid traveler, voracious reader(sometimes 2 books a day), passionate fan of Alabama football. She enjoyed arts and crafts and loved to cook. Every year there was a new sweet potato dish on the Thanksgiving table. It will be missed this year.
At this time the family is postponing a funeral service to celebrate her life until we can all get together again safely.
