Clifford Eugene Holden's Obituary
Clifford Eugene Holden, age 91, of Mount Dora, FL passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016. He was born in Torpedo, PA. Clifford married Dorothy E. Gaetano on July 15, 1950. He was a salesman and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in WWII. In 1959, Cliff and Dorothy moved to Palm Beach County, FL. They lived there until 1992 when they left West Palm Beach for Central Florida. Cliff was a member of Tavares Church of the Nazarene. Cliff was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy; brother, Francis Holden; sisters, Ruth Bowen, Maxine Reese, and Beulah Holden; daughter-in-law, Vivian Stariole Holden; and a grandson, Eddie Gregorie. He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his sons, Philip R. Holden of Boynton Beach, FL and Tom (Marsha) Holden of CA; daughters, Diane (Dave) Woodcum of OH, and Paula Reichard of Mount Dora, FL; brothers, Lowell Holden of Bradenton, FL, Paul Holden of NC, David Holden of MI; sister, Lois Englert of NY; 5 grandchildren, Ryan (Kerry) Woodcum of GA, Kӓrin Holden-Alfaro (Alex) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Matthew Woodcum of OH, James E. Reichard, III of CO and Kevin Gregorie of AL; 8 great grandchildren, Michael, Dylan, Thomas, Julian, Liam, Isabella-Juliet, Brianna and Paris; as well as many nieces and nephews. Viewing is scheduled for Friday, December 9, 2016 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis, FL.
