Clifford Gardner's Obituary
Clifford J. Gardner, age 83, of Sorrento passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015. He was born September 21, 1931 in Allagash, ME and moved to Florida in 2005 from New Milford, CT. He was a paver operator in the heavy equipment/construction industry and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mt. Dora and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Aline Gardner of Sorrento, FL; son, Garvin (Pam) Gardner of Bithlo, FL; daughters, Darla Mensching of Las Vegas, NV, Janice (Garth) Martin of New Milford, CT; sister, Marlene (Peter) Jandreau of Aroostook County, ME; grandchildren, Ashley, Jake, Brianna, Corrine, Nick, Brooke, Kaare, Kayla; great-grandchildren, Trevor and Isaiah; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Morgan. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 9:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mt. Dora.
