Clayton "Pete" Bressette's Obituary
Clayton “Pete” Bressette of Astatula, Florida passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the age of 46 years. He was born in Lansing, Michigan. Pete moved to central Florida from Morrice, Michigan in 1979. He attended Tavares High School. He met his wife Tammy in 1992 and they married two years later. Pete worked as a machinist. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Winter Garden, Florida and was a member and Past President of the Little People of America, Central Florida Chapter. Pete coached in the Tavares Youth Football League. He was a mechanic by nature. He loved to tinker with things and could fix anything. Pete is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 19 years, Tammy; sons, Chase and Adam; brothers, Mike Bressette and his wife, Sandy of Ohio, Joe Bressette and his wife, Shelly of Morrice, Michigan, John Bressette and his wife, Crystal of Owosso, Michigan, Jim Bressette and his wife, Jodi of Citrus Springs, Florida and Phil Bressette and his wife, Sue of Perry, Michigan; sisters, Marie Lewis of Perry, Michigan, Jean and her husband, Ted Klee of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, Anita and her husband, Rick Buckmaster of Morrice, Michigan, Janet and her husband, Scott Coleman of Dallas, Georgia, Emily and her husband, Jim Chaput of Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida and Jennifer and her husband, Gene Sheer of Leesburg, Florida. Friends and family are invited to gather for viewing on Saturday, May 11th from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon with a funeral ceremony starting at 12:00 noon at the Astatula Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Astatula Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with expenses. Arrangements are entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, Tavares, FL. Condolences, memories, photos and videos may be shared on the tribute wall.
