Clark H. VanMeter's Obituary
Clark H. VanMeter, age 88, of Leesburg passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016. He was born February 6, 1927 in Pattonsburg, MO and moved to Lake County in 1996 from Seffner, FL. He was an equipment repairman and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in WWII. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Dora. He also was a member of the Leesburg Boat Club, AMVETS, American Legion, Eagles, Elks, Masonic Lodge, and the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jean VanMeter of Leesburg, FL; son, Richard VanMeter of Hardy, AR; daughter, Terri Harris of Inverness, FL; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
