Clara Horne Prevatt's Obituary
Clara Horne Prevatt, age 80, of Leesburg passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. She was born November 5, 1934 in Blountville, TN to Avery Horne and Dora Smith Horne. She moved to Lake County in 1965 from Macclenny, FL. She retired as a teacher from Beverly Shores Elementary School, Leesburg, FL and was a member of the Whitney Baptist Church, Leesburg. She is survived by her sons, Jeff Prevatt of Leesburg, FL, Marty Prevatt of Leesburg, FL, and Reggie Prevatt of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Ralph Horne of Greenville, TN, Fred Horne of Indian Springs, TN; sisters, Nita Vance of Kingsport, TN, Margie Larkins of Kingsport, TN, Stacey Overbay of Waynesville, NC, and Betty Pleasant of Telford, TN. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sissy Prevatt. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 11:00AM at Whitney Baptist Church, Leesburg.
