Cheryl English's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl L English who passed away on June 22, 2026 at the age of 79.
Cheryl was a loving wife , stepmother, step-grandmother, and a dear friend to many. She was the cherished friend of John Hoffman. She will be missed by many including J Mark and Pam McClanahan.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time with her dear friends, cooking and photography, to name a few. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Umatilla . Her strength, gentle spirit, and caring nature touched everyone who knew her. She had a gift with animals that was unprecedented.
Cheryl is survived by her stepchildren, Beatrix Kinn ( David Rock) and Leslie ( Anthony) Selice and her step- grandchildren, Kris T Kinn and Olivia is Selice. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C English; her parents Robert and Lucy Guyette and her brother Robert Guyette.
A graveside service will be held on July 7, 2026 at Lakeside Memorial Gardens at 9:00 am where family and friends are invited to gather, remember, and celebrate her life.
Though she will be deeply missed, her love, kindness, and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Umatilla located at 550 Hatfield Drive , Umatilla, Florida 32784.
