Cherry Annette Waters' Obituary
Cherry Annette Waters, 75, of Mount Dora, FL, passed away on August 6, 2024, in Leesburg, FL. She was born on September 5, 1948, in Charleston, SC, to her parents: Marcel and Arrie Lee (Doggett) Beauchemin Sr. Cherry was first and foremost a woman who loved her Lord Jesus Christ! She was a bowling alley attendant for many years, was an avid bowler and the secretary for several leagues. She enjoyed many things in life including gardening, butterflies, reading, making quilts, needlepoint & other crafts, but she loved music! Especially listening & dancing to Elvis Presely as well as singing with the songs on her favorite radio station Z88.3. She also enjoyed travel & adventure. At 70 yrs old she tried zip lining for the first time. Everyone who knew her loved her bc she was so full of joy and love for them!
She is survived by her stepdaughter: Violet Jean Morales; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Brothers: Marcel Beauchemin Jr. and William E. Beauchemin and two nieces: Sandra Denny Bailey and Diana Denney Schoonover. She was preceded in death by her husband: Richard Scott Waters; sister: Frances Elaine Monk; stepdaughter: Annette Ruth Meek and her parents: Marcel Beauchemin and Arrie Lee Doggett Beauchemin. A gathering with a viewing will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 12:00PM – 2:00PM with a service to follow at 2:00PM at Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home.
