Charles Frank Taylor's Obituary
Charles Frank Taylor, age 80, of Ft. McCoy passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. He was born February 28, 1934 in Bell County, KY. He was a retired carpenter, a past Deacon at Haines Creek Baptist Church, and a past member of the Lions Club, Tavares. He is survived by his wife, Mamie Lou Taylor; daughters, Barbara (Dan) Willis and Linda (Jim) Bell; sisters, Geneva (Leo) Vaughn and Elizabeth “Liz” (Ralph) Temples; grandchildren, Keith Bell, Craig (Jackie) Bell, Staci Bell, Anthony Taylor, Libby Willis, Christian Taylor, and Josh Willis; great-grandchildren, Colby “Little Red” Bell and Baby Bell (due this month). He was preceded in death by his sons, Charles F. Taylor, Jr., Tommy Ray Taylor, and Jimmy Dwayne Taylor; brothers, Leonard Champlin and Jack Taylor; and sister, Mattie Brown. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 2:00PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis. Following the service, the family will be having a reception at the First United Methodist Church, Tavares.
