Charles Wilson Rucker Jr.'s Obituary
Charles Wilson Rucker, Jr. beloved husband, son, brother, father, granddad, great grandad, uncle, and cousin passed away at his home on July 15, 2021. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 26, 1944. Charles and his loving wife, Bibi Anna, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary surrounded by their family.
Professionally, Charles was a commercial real estate broker and developer. He also fulfilled his dream of developing and owning the Lazy Pelican restaurant in New Smyrna Beach.
He was a sailing enthusiast and captained his own boat, Touch`e. He took many journeys in the waters of Florida, the Bahamas and Abacos. He also had a love of golf, tennis, and the Beatles.
Charles is survived by his loving wife Bibi Anna, sister Judith, daughters Kimberly (Anthony) and Denise (Michael), grandchildren Toni Ann, Christie, Dakota, Kenny and Michael, his great grandchildren Madelynn, Adriana, Ella, Charlotte, Gianna and Savannah, his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service shall be held at a future date.
