After moving to Florida, Charlie began working for Mack as a Diesel Mechanic. Throughout their marriage, the couple was blessed with four beautiful children. They remember him as a strong, honorable, loyal, and affectionate father, whose love of family was continuously evident in their lives.
Charlie was an accomplished craftsman and often made furniture and toys for his family to enjoy. He was a Vietnam Veteran, and Bronze Star with Valor recipient. His service and dedication to his country were defining traits of his character. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, and Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. He was most passionate about his family, and showed unwavering support throughout all their endeavors. The example he set as a husband and father flowed far beyond his immediate circle; Leaving a beautiful legacy of generations impacted by his commitment to those he loved.
