Charles Lee Michna's Obituary
EUSTIS, Fla – Charles Lee Michna, 38, of Eustis, FL, formerly of Racine WI died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Aug 7, 2016. While his life ended too soon, Chuck certainly lived and loved life to the fullest with his wife, best friend and partner Alexa.
Chuck was born May 31, 1978 in Cudahy, Wis., to Charles and Valerie (White) Michna, Godson of Colleen Goetsch and Gerald White Jr., he was an enrolled member of the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and there was no shortage of laughter, fun and antics for the Michna family ever since. He had an infectious smile, sharp wit and made friends everywhere. He was always getting in trouble with his sisters growing up, and he had a great passion for the outdoors from visiting his beloved grandparents in northern Wisconsin. He was a 1996 graduate of Williams Horlick High School, and went on to open his own gym as well as worked in construction. Chuck took his big personality and work ethic on the road, running door-to-door sales teams throughout the country including Missouri, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Idaho and Florida. It was at work where Chuck met the love of his life, Alexa (Pizzini) Michna, and while it took a few years to win her over, and they were married Sept 6, 2014 on the shores of Lake Superior in Red Cliff, WI. Alexa & Chuck, along with their dogs Artemis & Gorbachov, were partners in everything, running a successful sales company and recently investing in real estate. Chuck complimented Lexie perfectly, and brought out the best in her & everyone around him. It was almost their two-year anniversary, and while they worked hard, we all know they lived for their epic pool parties, grilled pizzas and traveling the world from salmon fishing in Alaska to European river cruises to Atlantic City to Antiqua to adventures with family “up North.” Chuck will be deeply missed by all who knew him, he had an exceptionally charismatic personality, and a devilish smile which you would never forget.
Chuck is survived by his Wife Alexa, Sisters, Irena (Scott) Legue and children, Mitchell & Sidney; Michele Michna (Tim Harms) and children, Ryan, Wieland & Benjamin; and brother, Bryson Michna. Grandparents Gerald White of Odanah WI and Irene Michna of Racine WI. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, In-Laws and Many Friends. Chuck was preceded in death by two very special grandparents Frank C.
