Charles C. St. Clair's Obituary
Mr. Charles C. St. Clair, of Eustis, Florida, formerly of Chiefland, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the age of 92 years. He was born in Boonville, Indiana. He moved to Central Florida from Scottsburg, IN in 1969. Charles served his country well as an Army Medic, 81st Chemical Mortar Battalion in WWII, fighting in the Invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. He was a retired elementary school teacher and principal. Charles was a member of the Joppa Baptist Church in Chiefland, where he expressed his love for the Lord. He was a member of the WWII Veterans Association in Chiefland and was a 32nd degree Mason - F& AM in Mount Dora, FL. Charles also loved fishing. He was preceded in death by two wives, Dorothy J. St. Clair, who passed away in 1996 and Neva Gribble St. Clair, who passed away in 2009. He is remembered by his son and daughter-in-law, Scot and Mary St. Clair of Sorrento, FL; grandson, Scot (Tracie) St. Clair and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the near future at the Joppa Baptist Church in Chiefland. Condolences may be left for the family by signing the guestbook below!
