Dad,
There are so many things I will remember about you, but two will stand out the most. The article about life's train station that you cut out, laminated, and gave to me. I read it SO MANY times; life is not about a destination, it's about each day. The second is once when I was very, very hurt and heartbroken and there was nothing anyone could do to fix it; not even me, and we went and sat on your front porch ~ and just sat, both of us thinking about my hurt and knowing that enough words had been said; you just put your hand on my knee and we continued to just sit there. You probably have no idea how much strength of yours that you gave me that day. Thank you for everything. Love Always, Connie
