Catherine Cress Aylor's Obituary
Catherine Cress Aylor, 91, of Tavares, FL, passed away on July 18, 2023. She was born in Burlington, KY, to her parents: Calvin and Lilly (Brumback) Cress. Catherine retired from the Lake County Health Department as Business Manager. She was a member of the Tavares Women’s Club; member of the First United Methodist Church in Tavares. She enjoyed baking and cooking for others.
She is survived by her daughter: Diane (Charles) Miller and granddaughter: Dr. Mary Catherine (Caity Hamilton) Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband: Earl Glenn Aylor and daughter: Cathy Aylor.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 10:00-11:00AM with service to follow at 11:00 AM at Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home in Tavares. Interment will follow the services at Tavares Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to your favorite charity. Online condolences can be left at www.
