Catherine A. “Kay” Doyle, age 92, of Eustis, FL passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011. She was born April 23, 1918 in Evanston, Illinois and has lived in Florida since 1980. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugo and Mabel Doose; her two older brothers, James and Robert; her first husband, Raymond Engle and her second husband, John Doyle. She is survived by her son, James Engle of Eustis; step-daughter, Nancy (Ed) Sudlow of Illinois; younger brother, Sheridan (Gerry) Doose of California; 3 granddaughters, Christine Koppe, Anne (Keith) Keough and Laura Sudlow all of Illinois; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was of the Protestant faith. The family wishes to thank Avante Nursing Home and Rehab Center of Mt. Dora, FL where Catherine had lived for the past 2 ½ years. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778.
