Carroll L. Lee's Obituary
Carroll Leroy Lee was born on June 4, 1943, in Lowell, Massachusetts to Dorothy Olson. Around the age of 9 he was legally adopted and lovingly raised by his aunt and uncle, Marjorie V. Lee and Joseph D. Lee. On October 3, 2025, Carroll left the boundaries of this Earth to be with God and His Son, Jesus Christ, and to be reunited with the loved ones who went before him.
In the early 1950s, Carroll and his family moved to College Park, Florida, where Carroll attended local schools in Orlando and graduated from Edgewater High School. After high school, Carroll began a long and successful career in retail sales. Over the years, he worked for several respected companies, including Brendles, Sam Solomon, Leeds, Service Merchandise, Masters Catalog Showroom, and PAL & Associates in South Florida. His charisma, dedication, and genuine connection with people made him a natural in his field and a valued member of every team he joined.
Carroll was fortunate to live in many wonderful places throughout his life. In addition to Massachusetts and Orlando, he also called Folly Beach, South Carolina; Sarasota, Florida; Bradenton, Deerfield Beach, Florida; and Tavares, Florida home—before finally settling in Ozello, a peaceful island town on Florida’s west coast, where he spent his remaining years.
Carroll was blessed to share his life with many amazing people. He was married to Clary Lee for over 16 years before they divorced; she later passed away in January 2000. He then found love again with Irmi Lee, who sadly passed away in 1987. Later, he met and married Judith Lee, with whom he shared over 25 years of marriage until her passing in 2022. In January 2025, Carroll met Renna Jablonskis. Their bond, though brief, was deeply meaningful - a precious time that ended far too soon.
He is survived by his beloved, Renna Jablonskis, and was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Joseph D. Lee and Marjorie V. Lee.
He is also survived by his loving siblings:
· Sister Margie Rindo and her husband Mike Rindo of Nashua, NH
· Sister Christine Vieira of Pelham, NH, and her late husband Richard Vieira
· Brother Eddie Olson and his wife Lynda Leonard-Olson of Lowell, MA
· Sister Kimberly Olson of Lowell, MA
He was preceded in death by his brother Larry Olson of Lowell, MA.
Carroll leaves behind five children and their spouses:
· Marshall and Mia Lee
· Donald Lee and Kimberly Crews
· Sean Lucas
· John and Leanne Pedraja
· Karen Pedraja
He was the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren and great-grandfather of ten great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and his lifelong best friend, David Smith, with whom he shared a deep bond and a friendship that spanned over 44 years. Their connection was one of mutual respect, loyalty, and enduring support—an unbreakable brotherhood that remained strong through all of life’s seasons.
Carroll lived a life full of passion and purpose. He loved fishing, boating, golf, and most of all, helping others. In his younger years, he preached the Gospel in church and was an accomplished musician, playing both the saxophone and clarinet. He performed in many bands over the years and, later in life, was a proud member of the Central Florida Community Arts Orchestra, where he made many dear friends and continued to share his love of music with the community. He was also a lifelong fan of Jimmy Buffett’s music, which perfectly reflected his laid-back, tropical spirit and love for life near the water. Jimmy Buffett's songs were the background music of his happiest moments.
Carroll Lee lived a life of love, faith, generosity, and resilience. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy lives on in the hearts of those he loved.
