Carolyn Ruth Miller, age 70, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026. She was born on April 8, 1955, in Siler City, North Carolina. Carolyn dedicated her career to caring for others as a nursing assistant, a role in which her compassion and gentle nature touched countless lives. Two years ago, she made Florida her home after moving from North Carolina, embracing a new chapter surrounded by family and sunshine. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Raymond Miller; her sons, Scott Jeffers, Jason Jeffers, and Raymond Miller, Jr.; and her daughters, Tammy Hemphill, Christine Troutman, and Tabitha Wood. Carolyn was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, whose memory she carried with her always. Carolyn will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering love for her family, and the quiet strength with which she faced life’s challenges. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
