Carole E. de Vlugt, 71 went to be with her loving husband Dirk on December 13, 2011 under the care of her loving family. Carole was born on August 11, 1940 in Red Bay, Alabama to her parents Joe McGuire Sykes and Virginia Lucille Sykes. She was the Owner of deVlugt Machine and Tool in Orlando, Florida with her husband Dirk. She was very dedicated to helping animals through various animal rescue groups as well being very helpful to those in need and she was extremely dedicated to her loving family. Survived by her sisters: Helen Sue Sykes Taylor of Red Bay, AL., and Margie Lou Biggs of Chapmansboro, TN.; Many loving Nieces and Nephews; and Grand Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her loving husband Dirk, and a Brother and four Sisters.Funeral Services were held on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 1:00pm at Steverson, Hamlin and Hilbish, Tavares Chapel with visitation from 11:00am till the hour of service. Entombment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery in Gotha, Florida. Funeral Services were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations 226 Burleigh Blvd. Tavares, Florida 32778.
