C. Michael Duncan, known to his friends as Mike, was born on May 12, 1945, in Valparaiso, Okaloosa County, Florida, the son of Carl Edwin Duncan and Ann Lee (Farmer) Duncan of Tavares, Florida, and the grandson of one of Lake County’s locally famed founders, Henry Holcomb (H.H.) Duncan. Mr. Duncan grew up and lived in Tavares his entire life, following in the footsteps of his father and well-known uncle Henry C. Duncan in the practice of law. Mr. Duncan graduated from Stetson University College of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1971. Mr. Duncan was divorced, and his only son, Brett Michael Duncan, preceded him in death on April 28, 2018.
Memorial Services will be held in Friday, December 14, 2018, at 12:00 noon, with public viewing at 11:00 a.m.
